    Excellent Mexican food! I have been there 3 times and every time it has been spot on. This is real Mexican food and you can't beat the price.

    Wish I could have given more stars. The only reason they got three was because the food was tasty, the portions were good and the homemade sauces were pretty good. The regular salsa was right out of a jar (Pace Picante). The poor girl working the floor had only been working for 4 days and didn't know the basics of  table-service. Never got any silverware, no check back on my my drink, and she just wasn't up to speed yet. Probably come back and try them again later.

    Our first visit here and everything was on point. Salsas are excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean and the environment is casual. Not quiet but definitely not deafeningly loud either. The chorizo was excellent, seasoned well with just a touch of heat. I only tried the chorizo tacos today but I will definitely return to try more. If you want authentic Mexican style food (not Tex-Mex) give La Alameda a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

    The best food around period!  Always fresh and everyone who works there are so friendly.  One of my favorite places.  My recommendations are the tacos, taco salad and the fajitas.  Very generous portions!

    We stop here only occasionally as we don't live that close, but it's certainly worth the trip.
    Don't let the scruffy strip mall deter you, the restaurant is bright, clean and nicely decorated. Our waitress was cute, perky and helpful. The serving of chip was generous for two people with three toppings. Our meal choices arrived quickly and served hot.
    Great food, pleasant atmosphere and rock bottom prices. What more could you want ? Visit this great little place.
